An exciting opportunity now exists for a Senior Clinical Imaging Specialist (Nuclear Medicine) to join our growing CRO team. We are always improving, designing new and higher standards for clinical excellence and trial execution.

This role will be responsible for leading IRO activities to provide specialised imaging expertise and cutting-edge services to advance local and overseas clinical trials. This role will be required to provide technical expertise across CRO in imaging-related issues to ensure successful delivery of clinical projects.

On offer is a permanent full-time role, working remotely.

More specifically, you will:

  • Function as the imaging expert to lead and implement imaging scope (calibration, central reading, dosimetry, etc) in clinical trials.
  • Lead the design of site imaging requirements in clinical research studies and associated documentations (e.g. site imaging operations manual, calibration manual, image review manual, etc).
  • Lead the development and evaluation of IRO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), when required.
  • Lead the design of technical quality review of images per trial specifications and perform these quality reviews when required.
  • Design image analysis process in conjunction with relevant stakeholders and perform quantitative image analysis when required.
  • Manage quality control documentation for images according to SOPs and WIs.
  • Generate image queries to address technical issues, track those issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Lead the development and maintain central reader and investigator site training materials as well as study specific training documents. 
  • Lead technical training of imaging site personnel (on-site or video-conference).
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Degree in Medical Radiation Science (or equivalent).
  • Experience in Nuclear Medicine/PET (preferred), CT and/or MRI.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in nuclear medicine, PET and/or medical imaging required.
  • Experience of leading a team to provide imaging services for clinical routines or trials, or managing imaging research projects is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in clinical trials required.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Quality Assurance/Compliance in a clinical trials setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of image trial documents preferred but not required; i.e. Image Review Charter, Imaging Manual, Imaging Transmittal Forms, etc.
  • Demonstrated professional reliability, motivation, initiative and flexibility.
  • Ability to be proactive, anticipate needs and action accordingly.
  • Attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work.
  • Service oriented approach, flexible and proactive.
  • Ability to work in strict compliance with all procedures, rules and regulations.
