About the role

We are looking for a HRdirect Technical Consultant-Benefits for a 6 months contract to join our HRdirect Service Center team.

This newly created role will act as the first point of contact to answer questions from our employees and managers on all Intact’s Group Benefits related questions! For more complex inquiries, you will collaborate with internal & third party service providers to resolve such issues and ensure client satisfaction. You will have access to guidelines, knowledge base, policies & procedures to help you with answering benefits related questions from our employees and managers.

What you’ll do here:

  • Analyze, resolve, and coordinate the various inquiries about benefit questions from our employees and managers based on best practices and our knowledge base

  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party service providers to resolve complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.

  • Log all calls and document all the steps leading to the resolution.

  • Participate in keeping the benefits portion of our knowledge base up to date.

  • Collaborate with different teams to find the appropriate solutions ​for any benefits related questions.

  • Ensure consistent and accurate responses and recommend improvements.

  • Participate, on an ad hoc basis, in various team projects. 

What you bring to the table:

  • Education in human resources, administration or similar experience

  • Strong client/customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrates initiative, good judgment and autonomy

  • Capacity to adapt rapidly in an ever-changing environment.

  • Good understanding of Workday - an asset

  • Experience in benefits management - an asset

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Known for teamwork and collaboration

  • Positive attitude, autonomy, and strong sense of ethics 

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bilingualism in French and English required - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country
