Your Role :
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a squad of engineers working on some of our key dating applications. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager to deliver high-quality, user-centric features while ensuring the team adheres to best practices in agile software development.
Key Responsibilities :Technical Leadership: Oversee the full delivery cycle of application development, from feature design to deployment, ensuring a hands-on approach where necessary. You will act as a mentor for your team, guiding them through technical challenges and ensuring alignment with company architecture and standards.Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Manager to refine user stories, plan sprints, and manage delivery. You will also liaise with other teams, such as marketing and customer care, to ensure cross-functional success.Agile Champion: Promote agile methodologies, ensuring your team follows scrum rituals, practices continuous improvement, and delivers quality code in a fast-paced environment.Team Development: Foster a positive, collaborative culture where feedback is encouraged, and team members can grow professionally. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring engineers, identifying training needs, and ensuring that your team stays motivated and productive.Technical Excellence: Lead technical discussions within the squad, ensuring that the team’s technical decisions align with business objectives. Encourage best practices in testing, code quality, and architecture.Technical Stack :Web: ReactJS, TypeScriptAndroid: Kotlin, UI Toolkit, Jetpack ComposeiOS: Swift, UI Kit, Swift UIBack-End: C#, .NET 8, .NET FrameworkWhat You Bring :Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role, preferably with a background as a senior front-end developer or tech lead.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of frontend and backend development. Knowledge of CRM systems, API integrations, and online payment systems is a plus.Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and continuous delivery.Technical Expertise: Experience with modern web technologies (React, Angular) and/or native mobile development (Kotlin, Swift)Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working cross-functionally with teams across the business.
