Your role in helping us shape the future:

As a member of the U.S. News Money team, you will be involved in supporting the Money product team to help drive the future of our business. This position requires strong attention to detail, collaboration, and professional know-how to support cross functional partnerships to ensure financial strategies and broader business objectives are achieved. The primary responsibilities of the Compliance Associate are

  • to ensure we are publishing updated compliance requests in a timely manner
  • providing information and documentation needed to financial institutions to satisfy their regulatory requirements
  • implementing compliance updates and tracking to support our program.
  • recommending automated solutions that increase accuracy and efficiency of the team


Are you up to the challenge?

  • Conduct rigorous monitoring and QA of the site, drawing on regulatory knowledge to keep our content up to date and compliant
  • Review upcoming content updates based upon partner requests
  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing environment while maintaining quality and adhering to deadlines
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external clients


You should definitely have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, data science, behavioral economics, computer science, or any other relevant fields
  • Knowledge of and comfort with using content management systems (familiarity with, Brightspot a plus)
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant web publishing experience, cross-functional collaboration with IT/tech, UX and Product
  • Strong familiarity with developing, implementing and enhancing upon site monitoring tools, (familiarity with BrandVerity a plus)
  • Attention to detail, organization and time management are your strengths
  • Experience with reporting/tracking tools including Google Analytics


It would be nice if you have:

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in the credit card industry
  • Up-to-date knowledge on Internet publishing and metrics, with an acute understanding of SEO

  • The anticipated base salary for this position is $55,000-$70,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, interview performance, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
