679 - Graphic Designer

We need an English-fluent PART-TIME Graphic Designer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop graphics mainly for websites and social media.
• Create original banners and elements for the main website and application.
• Create original illustrations, photo illustrations, infographics, and design elements to augment news stories.
• Perform updates on the client's web site (backend in Squarespace).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 4+ years experience with design.
• Social media experience: editing for reels, a knowledge of Instagram analytics and what excels on the platform
• Experience with motion graphics.
• Exceptional Photoshop / Illustrator , InDesign and related Adobe software skills.
• Experience with editorial, branding and website designs (It's a big plus to have experience working with education, schools, or institutions).
• Proven experience with Squarespace set up for web sites.
• Portfolio demonstrating tangible expertise in a document design capacity
• Mandatory: Candidates that are flexible problem-solver when it comes to using new platforms, who are artistic, highly creative, out-of-the-box thinkers, and have strong portfolios that are nontraditional (not corporate).
• Softskills: versatile designers with a lot of creativity. People who bring ideas, both visually and for content overall. Able to apply different influences in design.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions precisely and work with minimal guidance.
• Proven problem-solving ability, particularly when working with new tools or platforms; a proactive mindset in overcoming challenges.
• Independent and self-directed work style, with a high degree of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality results without constant supervision.
