About The Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a
Sr. Manager, Real Estate Operations to join our Tailored Brands Real Estate team. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the long-range financial model and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the collection, analysis, interpretation, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting of financial information for the Real Estate Team. This is a remote role and reports to the Senior Vice President of Real Estate.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Oversees develop and maintaining of financial forecast/budget for multiple accounts (including Operating and Capital expenses) with emphasis on real estate operations.
- Identify business functional drivers and develop methodologies to support in-depth analysis and decision-making.
- Primary owner and key driver of real estate department process development, strategic initiative deliverables and execution plans.
- Provides insightful financial analysis and strategic insight to cross-functional teams to support business decisions.
- Work with key functional teams to understand and report on key business trends.
- Owner of Real Estate Committee meeting materials, spearheading cross-functional collaboration and prioritization of support team deliverables.
- Creates key driver reporting package and monthly financial presentations for leadership, effectively communicating financial results and performance to financial forecast and budget.
- Ensures appropriate and consistent management of company policies and procedures related to request preparation, approval tracking and reporting.
- Leverage diverse sources of data (Essbase, Excel, Access, Hyperion, capital tracking, etc.) to assess financial performance and develop action plans to achieve business goals.
- Establishes a process and template for Quarterly and Annual Asset reviews, oversees the consistent management and execution of this process and follow-ups.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- 5 year’s minimum work experience in retail real estate planning, evaluation, business, and financial analysis
- Retail real estate financial and customer data analytics experience preferred.
- Financial statement (income statement, balance sheet & cash flow statement) modeling and analysis experience
- A strong understand of the end-to-end new store real estate process
- Experienced in cross-functional collaboration with real estate dealmakers, analytics and finance teams to establish comprehensive and executable market strategies
- Supervise financial analysts' day-to-day job performance.
- Oversees Real Estate Systems Administrator, including all systems implementation initiatives.
- Ability to translate complex business/financial situations and questions into simple and clear conclusions, driving decision-making.
- Creative, owners and entrepreneur mindset.
- Ability to balance priorities, pivot quickly and calmly manage a face-paced environment.
- Work experience and proficiency with financial and forecasting/budget software applications required; Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Strategic Finance experience strongly preferred.
- Possess an understanding of corporate finance, financial modeling, and analytical tools (DCF, IRR, payback)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with Corporate Executives and Business Management
- Superior analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively collaborate with and support cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where self-motivation and initiative are critical to success with ability to meet deadlines.

- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, remote position.
- 10-15% travel focusing on in-market collaboration and strategic planning meetings.
