Summary

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Director to support our behavioral health business cross-functionally. You will work within the context of a team-based model, driving towards outcomes that are important to our provider, payers and state customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a clinical subject matter expert, supporting our behavioral business crossfunctionally, working intimately with the sales, operations, and product teams, and supporting our product development teams with new software releases and innovative partnerships
  • Support complex consultative sales of our behavioral health products to state and county governments, counseling government representatives on how our products support clinical best practices and comply with federal and state-specific regulations, and supporting the sales and renewal process regarding the funding of Bamboo products
  • Assist Product in executing our 3-year product strategy, with a particular focus on our Behavioral Health product line.
  • Support large-scale implementations of our behavioral health products, bridging our operations team with the sales team and advising core product and behavioral health teams to ensure that we exceed client expectations.

  • Deeply understand Bamboo Health’s behavioral health products and their impact on outcomes for our customers and users
  • Understand our behavioral health product go-to-market and sales motion
  • Support the sales team in liaising with current prospects
  • Understand how our behavioral health products are implemented and maintained
  • Understand our behavioral health product roadmap

In 6 months

  • Be the clinical lead on behavioral health product sales
  • Collaborate with Product in developing our product roadmap and executing on our 3-year strategy
  • Contribute towards shaping State, County and Federal level Behavioral Health RFPs with core Bamboo Health differential advantages.
  • Elucidate state and provider workflows and support the operations team in implementing our products in the context of these workflows

What You Need

  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science
  • At least 5 years of direct clinical experience, post-training, working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorder conditions (e.g., as a psychiatrist, primary care or internist working primarily with these populations, nurse or social worker)
  • Experience working for state or county government is preferred
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • A high level of judgment, analytical ability and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • A high level of judgment, analytical ability and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions
  • A work environment that is conducive to high quality virtual interactions. This includes being able to work from a quiet space with minimal interruptions or distractions and a strong internet connection
  • The ability to travel frequently for work.
