The Northeast Education Practice Area at Public Consulting Group seeks and experienced Project Manager 2.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
- Develops and maintains work plans with baselines and earned value reporting to monitor progress.
- Leads the planning and implementation of assigned projects
- Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Defines project tasks and resource requirements
- Develops full scale project plans
- Manages project resource allocation
- Plans and schedules project timelines
- Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provides direction and support to project team
- Responsible for Quality assurance
- Constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Presents reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
- Responsible for Project evaluations and assessment of results

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Experience

Certification
Working Conditions
Position is mostly remote, with the occasional (~10-15%) need to travel to client and office sites for planning meetings, working sessions, and team celebrations, etc. Must reside within the Northeast United States
