Location: Remote with requirement to visit Iberia office on a bi-weekly basis

Job Purpose 

 

Responsible for driving the strategy development and execution of the market access strategy from a pre- and post- product launch perspective, as well as life cycle management. The role plays a key part in the country leadership team for Iberia and is expected to be a key contributor to the Global Market Access network. This position will have indirect leadership over KAMs relating to access matters, and in collaboration with the Commercial Director. You will be responsible for building strategic plans and projects for the access team to implement in the field including support materials, activity and event planning, budget management, account segmentation, tactical plans and priority product plans.  

 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Lead successful, timely execution and achievement of National, Regional and Local reimbursement for Mundipharma brands 

  • Optimise patient access and benefit from, plus manage any payer or reimbursement obstacles for, Mundipharma’s established brand portfolio 

  • Responsible for developing market access strategies, recommendations and tools for standardisation opportunities  

  • Develop market access dossiers, tools, advisory boards, strategic workshops, and materials with external expert input and insights  

  • Responsible for managing the relationship with the main Strategic Market Access stakeholders 

  • Identify in advance threats and opportunities that impact on market access, proposing alternatives and strategies 

  • Work together with Commercial, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory Affairs in order to support strategies 

  • Identify in advance threats and opportunities that impact on market access, proposing alternatives and strategies 

  • Work together with the Global Market Access team in adapting the global strategy to the local market, leading the design of the local Access strategy, and managing the implementation in the organisation 

 

 

Key skills and experience 

 

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as an Access manager 

  • Experience negotiation with Ministry of Health and Pharmacies 

  • Experience negotiating minimum 3-4 products previously  

  • Experience in infectious diseases 

  • Advanced MS Powerpoint and MS Excel skills 

  • Experience negotiating assets at all levels in managing corporate governance, compliance, and medical affairs is highly beneficial 

  • Life sciences or academic qualification in Health Economics at postgraduate level beneficial but not essential
