Purpose of this Position
The primary purpose of this position is to provide customer service for our customer base in an assigned territory or region. This requires daily travel to and from customer sites to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair Videojet printers.
The individual accepting this role would need to demonstrate a demeanor that aligns with Videojet’s Core Behaviors, including but not limited to a customer service mindset, technical aptitude, administrative and professional communication skills.
The individual in this role must seek to learn and continuously improve upon the skillset needed to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations in their region, thus accelerating growth of service agreements and service revenues.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety regulations and reporting requirements to help ensure the safety of all associates and others we work with or around daily.
- Grow Videojet revenues through superior service and attainment of contract agreements.
- Routinely following up to ensure customer expectations are exceeded by closing or escalating all outstanding issues.
- Contribute to teamwork atmosphere by demonstrating core behaviors.
- Expense management and timely completion of expense reporting.
- Management of trunk inventory.

Requirements
- Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel (initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends)
- Up to two years of technical experience
- Basic computer/technical skills (can use email, software, phone apps, Microsoft Word)
- Compliance with PPE, safety and registration requirements of customers.
- Ability to perform and/or tolerate all physical requirements of the job with or without accommodation, including but not limited to:
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, walking and kneeling.
- Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
- Use of hand tools and manual dexterity.
- Exposure to a wide variety of manufacturing environments, including but not limited to: food, food processing, animal processing, heat, humidity, cold, noise, and dust.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $27.00 - $30.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Commission Pay.
