Job Description
The System Engineering – SAP Development role is responsible for day-to-day care and support of mission-critical SAP financials applications. The position requires a strong well-rounded SAP technical leader to quickly learn the overall business and technology processes supported by the team while also eager to learn and grow skills within the SAP landscape consisting of SAP ECC, S/4, BTP (Business Technology Platform) and multiple SaaS solutions. Position requires hands on development expertise along with solid integration and security knowledge.
Position expectations include:
- Designing, configuring, and implementing SAP solutions to meet complex business challenges
- Working directly with business and technical teams in assessing and providing technology support
- Understanding multiple end-to-end business and technology processes to become a subject matter expert
- Understanding technical details, integration, and functions of SAP and non-SAP systems
- Evaluating potential system enhancements and upgrades and influencing the product roadmap
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and product simplification opportunities
- Providing technical or functional leadership for junior team members
- Ensuring industry and technology best practices are followed for securing applications
Job Qualifications:
- You have deep understanding of SAP S/4 and the modern SAP ecosystem
- You have software configuration and development experience in areas of ABAP, CDS views, oData, Restful ABAP, CDS, user exits, BADI, BAPI etc.
- You have experience working in SAP-Fiori/UI5, BRF+, Workflow
- You have deep understanding of technology best practices in areas of development and security
- You have experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile SCRUM methodologies
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and love to continuously learn
- You are a team player and have well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- You are dedicated, self-directed, motivated, proactive, and inquisitive
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years hands on SAP functional and technical experience
- Prior experience with SAP ECC to S/4 migrations including system migration, cutover planning, and data conversions.
- SAP BTP experience in areas of system integration and clean core techniques
- Working exp. into various data provisioning techniques provided by SAP HANA such as SLT, BODS

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $92,560.00 - 166,465.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
