Job description

FOX21 News and SOCO CW, based in Colorado Springs, are seeking a driven and dynamic Remote Account Executive to manage our Lamar, La Junta, and Pueblo markets. You must reside in the Lamar, La Junta or Pueblo area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative and fast-paced media environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven sales background in marketing, ready to generate new business and grow existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in Lamar, La Junta, and Pueblo areas.
  • Create, present, and sell custom marketing solutions, including all aspects of digital and broadcast media strategies.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and prospecting.
  • Meet and exceed annual sales goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and campaign success.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings in the Colorado Springs office (4 times per month).
  • Regularly report on sales activity and client interactions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally within the marketing or media industry.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and close deals.
  • Not afraid to cold call and generate leads from scratch.
  • Proficiency with sales CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available to attend in-person meetings in the Colorado Springs office 4 times per month.
  • Reside in or have a strong knowledge of the Lamar, La Junta, and Pueblo markets.

Compensation:

This is a salary + commission position, offering excellent earning potential based on performance.
