$109,156.00 - $145,000.00

The Role
As a Lead Design Strategist, you will serve as a key driver of transformation by applying a human-centered approach to reframe challenges and uncover new possibilities. Leveraging design as your core tool, you will explore diverse future pathways, identify innovative opportunities, and guide stakeholders toward actionable solutions. Reporting to the Director of Research and Strategy, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement design thinking methodologies that align with our business objectives. You will be entrusted with navigating some of our most complex and ambiguous challenges, ensuring clarity and alignment for all parties as you shape a path forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitation Expertise: As a skilled facilitator, you will lead workshops and processes that extract valuable insights, result in meaningful outcomes, and inspire engagement. With a deep understanding of design thinking methods, you will adapt your approach to fit any situation, chaining methods together to achieve the best results.
Business Savvy: Connect design solutions to business objectives to create outcomes that deliver value to stakeholders and clients. Display a deep understanding of how design impacts strategy, finance, and operations.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience, preferably in complex industries such as fintech, insurtech, healthtech. or innovation labs.
Bachelor’s degree in design, business, or human behavior (e.g., psychology, applied anthropology, or sociology) or relevant work experience.
MUST share examples such as case studies, whitepapers, write-ups, and/or presentation decks. Be able to clearly describe involvement in these projects.
