Sr. Change Specialist to join our team !
About The Role
In this role, you will support enterprise-wide efforts to shift attitudes and behaviors, address ongoing people, process and technology changes to keep pace with customer needs and expectations. You will collaborate across business units and product teams to help guide them through transitions, ensuring that our workforce is engaged and aligned with our strategic goals and organizational priorities. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop their skills in change leadership and organizational transformation.
What You Will Do
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution change initiatives, ensuring they are coordinated with broader business vision, goals and top priorities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and engage partners, ensuring buy-in and understanding of new processes, tools, behaviors and attitudes.
- Help develop clear, concise communication plans and readiness and training materials to advise employees about upcoming changes (and what’s not changing), how the changes affect their role, and how they impact day-to-day work.
- Track the progress of change initiatives, collect feedback, and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of change activities (individually and holistically across Symetra).
- Assist in fostering a culture that embraces continuous learning, adaptability, and collaboration through workshops, tools, and change champions, while modeling Change Leadership behaviors to others.
- Provide Change Leadership coaching and resources to leaders, helping them guide their teams through small — and large—transformation efforts.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and tools in change leadership, bringing new insights and practices to help improve our approach.

Compensation
Salary Range: $ 100,300 – $167,100 plus eligibility for annual bonus program .
Who You Are
- Continuous learner: Eager to learn and grow in the field of change leadership, communications and organizational transformation.
- Analytical skills: Ability to capture and interpret data to advise decision-making and track success.
- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate sophisticated concepts in a simple and engaging way, as well as think through various audience and message strategies.
- Collaboration: Experience working in a team-oriented environment, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels including partner management.
- Problem-solving: Proactive mentality with the ability to identify challenges and propose solutions.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity, able to quickly shift direction and/or approach, in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, organizational development, or a related field required .
- 3-5 years of experience in related field, such as change leadership, change management, project management, or HR required .
- Familiarity with Change Leadership methodologies (e.g., Prosci , ADKAR) is preferred.
- Experience in financial services or a highly regulated environment is a bonus.
- Some minimal travel required .
