Channel Marketing Manager - Grainger
Location: Remote, expectation of up to 15% travel.
Team
The Americas Channel Marketing organization reports to the North America Senior Director of Channel Sales and is actively growing to support customer needs. The team consists of six marketing managers all supporting specific channel segments and strategic partners.
Overview
Fluke is seeking a dynamic and experienced Channel Marketing Manager focused on the Grainger and IMRO account partnerships to drive our marketing strategy, optimize channel performance, and support our sales and tradeshow efforts. The ideal candidate will be a multifaceted leader with a passion for innovation and a proven track record in channel engagement and market share growth.
Account Strategy – Marketing Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to assigned account’s platforms to drive product visibility and sales growth.
- Drive seller education initiatives to ensure Fluke remains top of mind for Grainger and IMRO sellers.
- Work with strategy, product, and sales to complete category reviews in partnership with assigned accounts.
- Analyze performance data, including sales trends, and customer feedback, to identify opportunities for optimization and improved ROI, and adjusting tactics for optimal performance.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to drive marketing and sales strategies.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate product launches, promotional activities, and brand consistency.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, account platform updates, and emerging marketing tools to continually refine and innovate marketing strategies.
Account Strategy – Tradeshow Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the Grainger tradeshow focused on showcasing products to Grainger sellers and customers.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align tradeshow objectives with overall business goals for Grainger account growth.
- Maintain the event budget while maximizing the show impact and ROI.
- Oversee the design and layout of the booth and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to Grainger’s marketplace standards.
- Analyze tradeshow performance metrics, such as leads generated, conversions, and customer engagement, and provide post-event reports with actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with Grainger’s guidelines and best practices for vendor participation in company-sponsored events.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and tradeshow best practices to continually enhance event strategies and performance.
Channel Strategy – Planning & Execution
- Recommend and lead success metrics through dashboards and bowlers.
- Support the annual channel management planning process relative to area of responsibility, aligned with corporate and customer planning through the line review and development process.
- Understand business, brand, and customer priorities to find common ground.
- Develop a calendar of marketing initiatives within scope of responsibility.
- Provide appropriate POS measurements to aid in the decision-making process and analysis.
Skills
- A fast learner with an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field (master’s degree or MBA a plus)
- A multifaceted leader with 5+ years of channel engagement/sales experience and a track record of customer expansion, growing market share, and overachieving revenue targets.
- Innovative and motivated by change, you’ve participated in building a progressive strategic vision. You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo!
- Working collaboratively, you quickly identify stakeholders and build / maintain deep relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Methodical and detailed, you thrive with process management and operational excellence to achieve results!
- Connecting with customers and end-user markets, you balance business intuition with market realities to make sound decisions.
