Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Sales Consultant specializing in upstream and midstream solutions. This remote role allows you to contribute significantly to the energy sector while building valuable relationships. You will serve utility companies in their efforts to meet regulatory and fugitive methane emissions reduction requirements, making a meaningful impact in a stable industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell tailored products to clients in the Upstream and Midstream sectors, focusing on Crude Oil and Natural Gas.
  • Act as a liaison between end-users and clients, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
  • Identify and cultivate new growth opportunities to enhance organizational efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare and initiate quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Develop and maintain robust client relationships through networking and outreach, including cold calls.
  • Submit monthly activity schedules and status reports to management.
  • Communicate significant client interactions, anticipated sales, and any challenges to your manager.
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting as required.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conventions, and exhibits, including presenting papers and leading training sessions.
  • Support start-up activities for new projects as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking abilities with a focus on innovative solutions and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills through various channels, including email and phone.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience with diverse programs and applications utilized by vendors and utility companies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two years of college education or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least two years of sales and marketing experience.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in the oil and gas or construction sectors.

Compensation And Benefits

This role offers a competitive base salary starting at $50,000, with potential flexibility based on extensive sales experience and industry knowledge. Additional benefits include a vehicle allowance.

Travel Requirements

  • Availability and willingness to travel at least 90% of the time are essential.
  • Ideal candidates should be located in PA, TN, OK, TX, or other major East Coast markets near an airport.

Schedule

  • This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
