Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Project Manager to lead a transformative food program for a prestigious global client. In this remote role, you will manage various initiatives aimed at enriching the in-office dining experience for employees. Serving as the critical liaison between our esteemed client and external vendors, your focus will be on ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and adhere to the highest standards of quality. This position represents a unique opportunity to influence and oversee a distinguished food program that significantly enhances the value and satisfaction within a large corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple food program projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Serve as the primary communication conduit, facilitating collaboration between the client and external vendors.
  • Formulate comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding milestones and project developments.
  • Diligently manage budgets and timelines to guarantee project delivery within defined financial parameters and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including operations, procurement, and facilities—to ensure seamless execution of food service operations.
  • Identify potential risks, develop effective mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to vendor agreements and quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations post-project completion to gather insights for future enhancements.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in food service, hospitality, or corporate environments.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting tight deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, especially with corporate or global clientele.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective relationship management among stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or comparable tools.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management and vendor compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to make decisive, timely decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • A degree in business, communications, finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Familiarity with food program management or service-oriented operations is advantageous.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus.
