Job Overview

Join our ambitious team as a Supply Chain Manager and play an integral role in driving the future of American manufacturing. In this remote position, you will be the strategic leader ensuring the timely arrival and optimal condition of all necessary parts and equipment. Your expertise will orchestrate the seamless operations of our supply chain, enhancing efficiency across various departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the full spectrum of warehouse activities, ensuring a smooth flow of components and equipment.
  • Master inventory management by predicting needs, overseeing stock levels, and maintaining organization.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to achieve best pricing and punctual deliveries.
  • Employ advanced software tools to monitor inventory and refine operational processes.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams including engineering and customer service to synchronize efforts.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or materials management.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in software such as ERP systems, CMMS, or inventory management tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to foster cross-team collaboration.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Workspace.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, food production, automotive, aerospace, or heavy equipment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with international shipping and customs regulations is a plus.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen is beneficial.
  • Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
