Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate - Demand & Supply Planner to join our dynamic management consulting firm, renowned for its innovative approach to optimizing demand and supply planning processes. As a pivotal member of our team, you will collaborate with prestigious clients to implement industry-leading practices that enhance their supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze demand and supply planning models, delivering comprehensive insights and actionable recommendations to enhance forecasting and inventory Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee the management of new demand forecasting units along with processes for new product introductions.
  • Actively participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, documenting critical insights and driving enhancements in forecasting and supply planning initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of end-to-end planning processes, identifying areas for optimization and proposing system and tool enhancements.
  • Assess data structures, models, and the technology tools integral to the planning process, with a particular emphasis on their connection to strategic KPIs.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in demand and/or supply planning forecasting roles, ideally within an S&OP framework.
  • Familiarity with demand planning and forecasting tools is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process enhancement.
  • Proficiency in presenting insights and recommendations in a compelling manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a keen enthusiasm for continuous learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with a commitment to a client-focused approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
