Job Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Materials Demand Planner who is enthusiastic about supply chain management and possesses a robust understanding of materials planning and forecasting. In this pivotal remote role, you will contribute significantly to the seamless flow of materials across our organization, ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex Bills of Materials (BOMs) and schedules to accurately derive material demand and create effective material requirement plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic material acquisition initiatives.
  • Utilize data analysis to guide material forecasting and allocation, driving informed decision-making.
  • Support the optimization and development of efficient materials planning processes within our ERP system.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and proactively address any challenges affecting material supply or demand.

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) principles coupled with hands-on ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) to interpret and manipulate data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, facilitating productive collaboration.
  • Capability to operate independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Adaptability to work in fast-paced settings with stringent deadlines.

Qualifications
