Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of special education students, with an emphasis on indirect services.
  • Coordinate and facilitate virtual IEP meetings, engaging parents, educators, and other team members to promote effective communication.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal and state special education regulations, maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to foster inclusive practices within the classroom.
  • Offer guidance on accommodations and modifications that support student success.
  • Maintain precise and current special education records to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Serve as a liaison between families, schools, and community resources to cultivate positive relationships.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt support strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide indirect support and consultation to teachers and staff to enhance educational methodologies.
