Position Title: In-Home Therapist & Clinician - Remote

Position Overview

As an In-Home Therapist & Clinician with the SAFE Project, you will be instrumental in advancing our mission by delivering compassionate support to families and youth grappling with substance use and mental health issues. You will join our dedicated In-Home Therapy Team, primarily serving clients in the Greater Boston area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach and engagement efforts in home and community settings to connect with families, particularly adolescents facing substance use and behavioral health challenges.
  • Provide case management and behavioral health counseling utilizing strength-based and trauma-informed methodologies, employing evidence-based interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, A-CRA, and ACC.
  • Execute comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans that address substance use, mental health, trauma, relapse prevention, and recovery support strategies.
  • Assist families in identifying and accessing community resources, treatment options, and natural supports to enhance their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Therapeutic Training and Support Specialist and other service providers to ensure the coordination and implementation of appropriate support services for families.
  • Engage in continuous training and professional development, achieving certification in evidence-based models such as A-CRA within six months of training.
  • Participate in community outreach efforts to engage with local organizations and schools, thereby increasing referrals to our In-Home Therapy and SAFE programs.
  • Maintain precise clinical electronic health records and billing documentation as necessary to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Meet the established productivity goal for billable client services (26 hours/week) while participating in regular clinical and administrative supervision meetings.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Clinical experience addressing addiction disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
  • Familiarity with community-based resources in the Greater Boston area.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with diverse cultural groups.
  • Experience with home-based services and case management practices.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.

Compensation

  • This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from \(62,000 to \)64,000 per year.
