Team Overview

We are a mid-sized and growing remote team tasked with reporting US healthcare insurance document changes to clients which include large pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostics companies, as well as leading academic institutions and organized provider groups. By providing real-time updates on the latest changes to medical and pharmaceutical insurance policies across the US Healthcare landscape, we help our clients increase market access. We achieve this by using technology-enabled solutions and methodical approaches to efficiently convey key change information. Responsibilities:
  • Synthesize relevant policy information from complex Healthcare-related documents into a customized client report that summarizes valuable findings  
  • Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success  
  •  Read and work with complex, technical documents  
  •  Work independently and able to make their own decisions, but also willing to follow style guidelines  
  • Fulfil the role of a senior member of the team by leading tasks & / or internal projects, providing direction and conducting quality assurance on the work of colleagues in the Healthcare Document Analyst team  
  • Joins the HDA Leadership team to plan and implement strategic decisions to help develop the HDA team  
  • Reviews and ensures task responsibilities are completed in a timely manner  
  • As required, responsible for coordinating multiple specific team workflows & collecting statistics  
  • Support efforts to strategize & improve the productivity of the Healthcare Document Analyst team, by building and implementing tools to streamline or automate manual processes  
  • Train and foster growth among the team of Healthcare Document Analysts, as well as acting as a mentor to guide and support new hires. Foster a team culture that's adaptable and flexible to change. 
    Support PolicyReporter Knowledge Management efforts by documenting and conducting training sessions on Healthcare Document Analyst business processes  
  • Perform other administrative and research tasks as required
Qualifications:
  • Experience with synthesizing and summarizing complex technical information  
  • Experience and intimate knowledge of the US Healthcare Industry and/or Life Sciences is preferred  
  • Experience training, coaching or mentoring junior staff  
  • 2-5 Years' experience in similar roles  
  • At least a master’s degree in a relevant field   
  • Expert English language skills (both written and verbal). A significant part of the job requires reading, understanding, and creating technical documents  
  • Comfortable working with technology   
  • Able to adapt easily to new database systems  
  • Experienced working with excel  
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as our projects are often worked on by multiple members of the team  
  • Education background: life science, social science, language-focused humanities; ideal is a background in science and strong interest in writing, or vice versa.  
  • Intimate familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive applications

Compensation: $53,000 - $60,000 CAD
