We do this for a global client portfolio including Unilever, Campari Group, AIA, Sanofi, Nestle, Lipton, Kimberley Clark, Straumann, Ricola, Globe Telecom, and more. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments of WordPress platforms, plugins, and themes. 
  • Implement best security practices for WordPress, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management. 
  • Monitor for and respond to potential threats, breaches, and incidents in real-time. 
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are followed. 
  • Maintain up-to-date security documentation, outlining processes, protocols, and compliance guidelines. 
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal security policies. 

 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on securing WordPress platforms. 
  • Proficient in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in WordPress, such as plugin vulnerabilities, SQL injection, and cross-site scripting (XSS). 
  • Strong understanding of firewall configurations, SSL certificates, and encryption protocols. 
  • Experience with security tools like Wordfence, Sucuri, or similar WordPress security solutions. 
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and other cybersecurity frameworks. 
  • Ability to implement and maintain security monitoring systems and conduct penetration testing. 

 

Preferred: 

 

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud-based security 
  • Certification in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM. 
  • Knowledge of incident response planning and disaster recovery protocols.
