Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk Adjustment Operations Manager who is eager to drive substantial change within the healthcare sector. In this pivotal remote role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting both new and established Risk Adjustment Programs, ensuring that initiatives align with the needs of health plans and their beneficiaries in Risk Adjusted government programs. Your extensive knowledge in capability analysis, operating models, incentive design, governance, process engineering, and metrics design will be essential in delivering impactful results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the daily execution of Strategic Risk Adjustment Program engagements, ensuring ownership of deliverables, resource allocation, and successful outcomes.
  • Design comprehensive business cases, define project scopes, develop staffing plans, and create incentive models for healthcare provider engagements.
  • Lead project teams and collaborate with external consultants to meet established goals, making adjustments as necessary to ensure success.
  • Maintain open communication with executive sponsors and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding program status, strategic direction, timelines, risks, and challenges.
  • Assess potential risks and opportunities associated with program goals, elevating concerns when necessary.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices, continuously enhancing methodologies and tools to optimize program performance.
  • Undertake leadership tasks, including recruitment, coaching, performance management, and fostering team development.
  • Supervise daily departmental operations, implement relevant policies, and manage budgets as required.

  • 7-10 years of Project/Program Management experience, including 3-5 years in leadership capacities.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Risk Adjustment programs.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Strategic Planning.
