Job Description

Develops and executes programs and processes to reduce information security risk and strengthen Oracle’s security posture.

Career Level - IC3

Responsibilities

As a Security team member, you will be responsible for:

  • Access Management. Ensuring requests are documented, understood and brought to management attention if necessary. Ensure the system is accurate and audited and data within and policy within is adhering to the standards of the system.
  • Compliance documentation and enforcement. Ensure employees are following the guidelines of the security policies, and issues are appropriately enforced and escalated as necessary.
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of the business processes, assets, facilities, responsibilities, regulatory requirements and interdependencies of the organization.
  • Performs regular reviews and updates to all program materials to ensure that the quality and accuracy of all program documentation is maintained.
  • Performs continuous monitoring of program activities to identify areas of opportunity for improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Preparing and participate in internal and external audits


Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience:

  • BA/BS in Physical Security, Business Continuity, Information Technology or related field. (Required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security data management. (Required).
  • Experience with reporting tools, OBIEE, data manipulation and excel skills.
  • Knowledge of risk management disciplines, including information security risk, information technology risk, vendor risk, and operational risk.
  • Adaptable, innovative and detail oriented. Disciplined to solve complex problems, with the ability to resolve issues and drive solutions that create win-win situations.
  • Analyzing and reporting of security incidents and performing root cause analysis to proactively reduce incidents moving forward
  • Preparing and participate in internal and external audits
  • Profile should be a team player and able to quickly establish comfortable and effective working relationships.
