Technip Energies is a leading engineering and technology company serving the energy transition, with leading positions in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), hydrogen and ethylene and with a strong presence in the growing markets of blue and green hydrogen, sustainable chemistry, floating offshore wind turbines and CO2 capture and storage. The company benefits from its strong project delivery model, supported by an extensive offering of technologies, products and services.

With our commitments to Diversity & Inclusion and Sustainable Development ( here ), with a presence in 35 countries, our 15,000 employees are fully committed to bringing our customers' innovative projects to life, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to accelerate the energy transition to a better future.

Technip Energies is a leading engineering and technology company serving the energy transition.

Missions offered:

In energy engineering, mainly off-shore but also modular and offshore wind, weight and center of gravity monitoring are crucial, whether for installation, transportation, stability or capacity in place.

It is essential from the conceptual studies to be able to estimate the final weight, even from preliminary data, and to monitor the evolution of this weight throughout the studies until the installation of the installation and its final delivery.

The analysis of past projects makes it possible to establish estimation methods.

Within the "Weight and Quantity Management" department, you will be in charge, after getting to know the company, the department, the projects and our methodologies, to study and analyze the weight calculation results (at the end of the construction) of the engineering disciplines (mainly structure and piping), detailed by type of elements (for example by pipe line supports or valves...) from different types of installations off-shore/modular/wind turbines designed, built and installed by Technip Energies in the past.

The objective of the internship is to improve our estimation methods and to develop weight calculation tools derived from the analyses of previous projects.

Profile sought:

What we expect from you:

  • Engineering school or equivalent. You are looking for your end-of-studies internship,
  • Autonomous, proactive, dynamic, you have good interpersonal skills,
  • You have a good level of English (reports to be analysed in English),
