As a member of the Franchise Finance team, you will play a critical role in providing restaurant P&L financial analysis for Wendy’s Franchise restaurants to accelerate Wendy’s growth. In this role, you will support various internal Operations functions and the Franchisees by providing business and financial insights through sound, fact-based, well-reasoned analysis, identifying opportunities to improve operations and drive growth in the Restaurant Economic Model.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts detailed financial analysis of various strategic initiatives which impact sales, profitability, cash flows and capital in Franchise restaurants.
  • Evaluates Franchisee, Division, and DMA performance in various categories including sales, operations and profitability. Interpret metrics and results to provide leadership with key indicators of success.
  • Participates in key components of the annual/quarterly/monthly Franchisee benchmarking processes and formulating key insights..
  • Prepares ad hoc analysis or reporting requested by the Operations function, cross-functional partners and Franchisees
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance & Accounting majors) or Economics with high academic achievement
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a finance or analytical role
  • Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques
  • High proficiency in Excel, including demonstrated ability to build financial models using advanced formulas and work with large data sets
  • Effective communication and PowerPoint skills necessary to effectively interpret and communicate results

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. - The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
