Position Responsibilities

We are seeking a Technical Manager to lead our Security Tools Team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the management, operation, and deployment of key security tools in our global environment. The successful candidate will drive the implementation and optimization of security solutions, particularly focusing on zero trust architecture, while ensuring the security posture of our organization.

As the Technical Manager, you will manage a diverse, globally distributed team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to our overall security strategy. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in modern security tools, and hands-on experience with deployment and integration of security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers responsible for managing, operating, and optimizing security tools.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high availability and performance of critical security solutions.
• Develop team capabilities, foster professional growth, and manage performance reviews.
• Security Tool Management:
• Oversee the management and operations of security tools such as CrowdStrike, Cloudflare, SASE tools (Zscaler, Netskope, Paplo Alto Prisma), and Duo.
• Ensure security tools are integrated seamlessly with the existing IT infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Maintain compliance with security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Zero Trust Implementation:
• Lead initiatives to implement and enhance Zero Trust architecture and related security technologies.
• Drive the deployment of new security tools and ensure successful adoption across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT, networking, and software engineering teams to ensure a holistic approach to Zero Trust.
• Security Strategy & Collaboration:
• Work closely with senior leadership to align security tools and strategies with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand security needs and ensure the security posture remains strong.
• Stay current with industry trends, threats, and new security technologies, recommending new tools as necessary.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple security tool deployment and optimization projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Establish project roadmaps, coordinate resources, and ensure that security objectives are met.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in IT security, with a focus on security tools management.
• 3+ years of management experience, leading technical teams, preferably in a global or multi-site environment.
• Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Netskope, Duo, and other key security tools.
• Proven experience deploying and managing Zero Trust architecture and related tools.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in endpoint security, SASE solutions, cloud security, and multi-factor authentication.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles, with practical experience implementing Zero Trust solutions.
• Knowledge of network security, identity governance, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Office 365).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage a globally distributed team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to influence decision-making processes across departments and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Certifications (Preferred):
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or similar certifications in security management.
• Vendor certifications for CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Netskope, or related security tool
