About the Role
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in leading and directing Professional Services projects. This position involves setting priorities, objectives, and timelines that align with client expectations and the lock-in goals defined within the Simetrik methodology. The Project Manager serves as the primary contact for Professional Services, managing and coordinating with various client stakeholders (Champions, Coaches, Technical Buyers, Economic Buyers)
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Leads the daily execution of specific projects within the Professional Services team, including implementation services and guided configuration sessions
- Develop an agile project management plan that engages and details stakeholders, enabling fronts for clear execution milestones and objectives for each sprint or wave of implementation
- Present and communicate project timelines and milestones assertively, managing risks and addressing customer concerns proactively while managing expectations
Resource Management
- Ensures the proper allocation and balance of team capacity for project participants, optimizing efficiency and balancing the workload effectively
- Identifies the skills required to ensure optimal project performance and recognizes new role or team needs
Risk Management
- Identifies potential risks and challenges associated with each project and develops mitigation strategies to address them
- Closely monitors project progress, promptly identifying and resolving issues to keep the project on track
Stakeholder Communication (Champions, Coaches, Technical Buyer, Economic Buyer)
- Facilitates regular communication and collaboration among project teams, clients, and other stakeholders
- Provides status updates, reports, and presentations to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals
Team Leadership and Coordination
- Coordinates functional teams, including Senior Implementation Specialists, Implementation Specialists, Integration Engineers, and other internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Cloud, Legal, and Partnerships, to ensure smooth project execution
- Provides direction, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests
- Generates regular reports and updates for stakeholders, providing visibility into project progress, achieved milestones, and upcoming activities
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills to manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction, with a proactive approach to enhancing systems and processes
- Ability to problem-solve, adapt to changing environments, and handle project challenges effectively
- Strong understanding of business cases and risk management processes, with proficiency in monitoring and controlling project budgets
- Outstanding leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork
- A goal-driven, proactive attitude
- Professionalism
- Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus
