Head of Data Analytics Our client is seeking a Head of Data Analytics to lead their team in Taipei. This dynamic role involves ensuring the business maximises the use of meaningful data insights and robust analytics capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the company's data strategy, delivering analytics solutions that meet their business needs across multiple domains.

What You'll Do

As Head of Data Analytics, your role will be pivotal in shaping the company's data strategy. You will lead a team of professionals in building an intelligent platform that includes dashboards and predictive analytics solutions. Your ability to engage with various teams, influence strategic direction, understand market evolution, and collaborate effectively will be key to your success. Your work will not only drive business efficiencies but also enhance customer experiences through insightful data analysis.

  • Engage with functional teams and global/regional counterparts to design and execute on the data and analytics roadmap
  • Influence strategic direction of analytics solutions ROI and value across transformational projects
  • Lead a team of business analytics professionals to build business intelligent platform, dashboards and predictive analytics solutions
  • Leverage the analytics platform within the business practices as well as the culture of Taiwan business
  • Understand the evolving market and recommend solutions to help ensure relevance from a data, analytics, and technology perspective
  • Collaborate with internal distribution team and external business partners to build relevant analytics solutions to meet shared business goals

What You Bring

As Head of Data Analytics, you bring a wealth of experience in driving business outcomes using data and analytics. With over 10 years' experience in an analytical role and at least 5 years managing a team, you have honed your leadership skills alongside your technical expertise. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively collaborate with executive level business leaders across different functions. Your strong analytical capabilities, combined with your technical background and familiarity with analytics software such as Tableau, SAS, PowerBI, Qlik, SQL, Python and/or R, make you an ideal candidate for this role.

  • 10+ years of experience in an analytics capacity driving business outcomes using data and analytics
  • 5+ years management experience for a team size of 3+
  • Excellent verbal and written executive communication skills both in Mandarin and English
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate with executive level business leaders across different functions such as IT, Sales etc.
  • Math, Computer science or related technical background + willingness to dive into technology details
  • Strong foundational skills with analytics software such as Tableau, SAS, PowerBI, Qlik, SQL, Python and/or R
