Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Our client is a US-based global company that works on security services, blocking advanced attacks including malware, botnets, and phishing threats. We are contributing to a security platform functionality. Together with the client, we developed a private cloud that is used by millions of users all over the world.

IF YOU ARE

• An experienced DevOps Engineer with at least 5 years of working background
• Proficient in building applications and services using Ruby and Python
• Skilled in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• Strong in building solutions and services in AWS
• Confident in Git and Linux
• Knowledgeable about computer networking protocols
• Experienced with system and application debugging and performance optimization
• Familiar with system configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack
• Knowledgeable in some of the technologies such as Memcache, NGINX, HAproxy, MongoDB, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, MySQL, or ElasticSearch
• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level
• Practiced in common compile, build, and packaging tools like gcc, make, rpm-build (as an advantage)
• Familiar with secure coding practices (would be a plus)
• Having leadership experience or a desire to lead (nice-to-have skills)
  
  
  

AND YOU WANT TO

• Deploy across a cloud infrastructure, including Amazon AWS EC2
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Implement product features and fix existing bugs logged in the bug database
• Develop and maintain internal tools for automated functional, integration, and performance testing
• Support Tier 3 Technical Support by debugging and fixing production issues
• Be a part of the future staffing of new team members
