Job description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team working with one of our financial industry clients based in Cyprus.

This remote role offers an incredible opportunity to develop high-quality business features within our client’s Financial Landscape, operating as Spring Boot microservices in a cloud-native environment on Microsoft Azure. As part of our DevOps objective, you will also expediently operate the microservices during the testing and production phases.

Responsibilities

Create data integration and business services within a microservices architecture
Validate that services perform optimally and adhere to requirements
Maintain adherence to DevSecOps principles
Participate in the management of the team's microservices during testing and production environments
Address architectural considerations in decision-making and recommendations
Prepare and maintain unit tests for automated validations
Conduct code reviews
Resolve bugs and issues in active applications
Exhibit a deep expertise in the Java application development stack and associated tools

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to write efficient, maintainable code using Java programming language
Strong knowledge of microservices implemented using Spring Boot
Profound experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL is a strong plus
Proven expertise in test driven development, in writing unit tests and end to end integration tests
Experience working in a DevOps team
