Our Commercial Creation Center team builds and maintains the platforms and capabilities that enable Pfizer Business Units to connect digitally with our patients & external customers and effectively engage and collaborate across teams internally.  We manage large strategic programs for digital (web, mobile, omni-channel, & devices) products, platforms, services, and experiences in service of our customers including patients, HCPs, payors, and pharmacies.

Role Summary

The Digital Program Communications & Adoption Lead will have accountability for the overall internal communications strategy & execution for large global Commercial Digital Programs. This includes exciting Programs within Gene Therapy, Patient Services, Global Market Access, and more.

This role will report into the Global PMO organization working across Digital & business stakeholders around the world to develop relevant and creative communications, to align and enable changes necessary for our launch readiness success. Key expectations include writing & editing stakeholder communications and promoting Programs internally to stakeholders globally at Pfizer.

The ideal candidate is a Communications expert with experience collaborating across all organization levels on global programs. They should have skills in graphic design, event planning, change management, project management, and leadership. The role will require communicating complex technical information, building and sending newsletters, and leveraging PowerPoint and SharePoint in day-to-day communications.

Preferred: Familiarity with AI, Copilot, and MS Outlook tools for communications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead key Program Communications strategy and execution including stakeholder assessments, ongoing communications, Program marketing, email and newsletter templates, and branding & design

  • This strategic and visible role will work closely with business, Digital, and other relevant partners to enable our transformational Program delivery efforts

  • Ability to translate strategic ideas into tactical actions via an engagement roadmap

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to develop robust Program communications plan, while continuously managing stakeholder engagement & measuring ongoing effectiveness

  • Partner with global deployment leads to evolve our business process governance model & engagement approach

  • Develop engagement campaigns, plans, and content (presentations, MS Teams posts, town-halls, onsite events, etc.) for high impact engagement.

  • Build status communications for impacted stakeholders to be kept apprised of upcoming milestones, risks and issues, & dependencies

  • Identify key changes or transformation required by the organization to prepare for product launch readiness in partnership with business & Digital leads

  • Assist PMO & leadership in facilitating program decisions and communications to impacted stakeholders

  • Provide feedback on methods to maximize end user understanding of new technology tools, communication methods and AI

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 7 years in similar roles in communications, management consulting, marketing; or 5+ years with advanced degree

  • Communications professional with deep knowledge & minimum 5 years of experience with global internal communications for senior leaders for large companies/Programs

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, including meeting facilitation, event planning, colleague engagement and presentation skills

  • Strong track record of partnership with peers & senior level leaders across a highly matrixed organization

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail-oriented work

  • Ability to translate and simplify technical messaging for relevant audiences

  • Thrives in ambiguity with strong project management skills

  • Advanced MS Office and SharePoint particularly in MS PowerPoint to create executive ready presentations.

  • Visual communication/graphics background and experience following branding guidelines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Life Sciences or related industry experience

  • Previous Management Consulting experience on large-scale Program communications & and change efforts

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117,300.00 to $195,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
