Join our innovative SaaS company as an Onboarding and Implementation Accountant, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming restaurant technology systems. Our platform, crafted by restaurant professionals for restaurant operators, helps streamline essential services such as Accounting & Bookkeeping, Payroll, Food Cost Management, and AP Automation, enabling informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate a smooth transition for clients to our accounting software.
  • Guide clients through the onboarding journey, promoting best practices for accurate financial management.
  • Utilize your industry expertise and GAAP knowledge to effectively respond to client inquiries while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Oversee the successful integration of prior financial records into our accounting platform.
  • Offer valuable insights on financial structures and controls during discussions with clients.
  • Enhance client and team knowledge of accounting principles, emphasizing precision in service delivery.
  • Exercise discernment in evaluating client requests against established industry standards.
  • Foster productive communication and teamwork within the onboarding department, ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Conduct in-depth Balance Sheet reviews to identify discrepancies and create opportunities for client education.
  • Build and maintain strong, personalized client relationships, emphasizing one-on-one engagement.
  • Advocate for the platform's value throughout the organization, focusing on identifying cost-saving measures to improve client profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Success Manager to develop and refine policies and best practices as necessary.
  • Deliver outstanding service through various communication channels, including phone, chat, and online platforms.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in quickly learning and adapting to new technologies and software systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to convey information effectively to clients and colleagues.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, able to work independently.

  • Ability to maintain client accountability while ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
  • Restaurant/hospitality industry experience is preferred.
