Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly intuitive Process & Training Documentation Specialist to join our growing Knowledge Management & Process Improvement team. We are a full-service consultancy and professional services firm specializing in large capital projects (infrastructure, energy, etc.). We are headquartered in San Diego, CA, but our team is fully remote.

This role will involve developing comprehensive documentation & training material that outlines procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistent, clear, and impactful documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing & process documentation with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Review, update and maintain manuals that clearly outline processes, standards, and guidelines for delivery across various departments. 
  • Coordinate and lead conversations with stakeholders across various teams to gather input, validate content, and ensure that manuals align with organizational objectives and best practices. 
  • Ensure that all policies adhere to legal and regulatory standards, conducting regular reviews to maintain compliance. 
  • Develop supporting materials, such as quick reference guides and training presentations. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications 
  • 2+ years of experience in creating training materials and/or process documentation or related roles. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead conversations and work collaboratively with diverse teams. 
  • Proficiency in process management tools and documentation software, such as Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, Lucid, or similar systems.  
  • A detail-oriented mindset with the capacity to oversee multiple projects and tasks concurrently. 
  • An upbeat, can-do attitude, adaptable work approach, and the capability to adjust to evolving project requirements. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a talent for critical and strategic thinking. 

Desired Qualifications 
  • Preferably holding a bachelor’s degree in business, project management, communication, education, or related fields. 
  • Experience in leading and facilitating team trainings.
