Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Development Team Lead to guide our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) in targeting large enterprises and government entities. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B sales, particularly in securing government contracts, responding to RFPs, and managing enterprise accounts in the outdoor recreation and accommodation sector (glamping, parks, campgrounds).

As the Team Lead, you will supervise and coach our SDR team, while also actively engaging in business development efforts. You will ensure the team is aligned with company goals, optimizing strategies to secure deals with government organizations and large enterprises. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, and will oversee the implementation of tools like HubSpot and Zapier to streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of SDRs focused on B2B sales within the government and enterprise sectors.
  • Develop outreach strategies targeting glamping sites, parks, campgrounds, and government entities.
  • Identify new business opportunities, respond to RFPs, and drive government contracts.
  • Guide SDRs in qualifying leads and setting meetings for the sales team.
  • Oversee the use and optimization of HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of sales activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to align on outreach strategies and campaigns.
  • Train and support the team in using automation tools like Zapier for increased efficiency.
  • Provide performance feedback, set targets, and ensure individual and team KPIs are met.
  • Engage directly with enterprise-level and government leads to demonstrate the value of RoverPass.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the outdoor accommodation industry and RoverPass' product offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing SDRs or similar sales teams.
  • Strong background in B2B sales, with a focus on government entities and enterprise-level clients.
  • Experience in responding to RFPs and securing government contracts.
  • Expertise in sales tools, particularly HubSpot and Zapier.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Strong understanding of the outdoor recreation, glamping, and campground industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment with strong organizational skills and a reliable home office setup.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with working both independently and as part of a team.
