We are excited to invite an accomplished Mortgage Loan Processing Team Lead to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This pivotal role is designed for individuals eager to elevate their careers by leading a dedicated group of mortgage processors. You will play a crucial role in providing guidance, overseeing workflows, and ensuring the successful processing of loan applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of mortgage processors, cultivating a collaborative and positive work atmosphere.
• Assist team members in navigating complex loan files, facilitating smooth transitions through the processing stages.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines for Conventional, FHA/VA, New Construction, and Non-QM loans.
• Manage a pipeline of 35-40 files, achieving timely submissions of over 25 files each month with minimal conditions.
• Analyze various financial documents, including income, assets, and collateral, to facilitate loan approvals.
• Uphold a strong performance track record within a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of mortgage processing, particularly for Conventional, FHA/VA, New Construction, and Non-QM loans.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Capacity to efficiently manage a pipeline of loan files.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in mortgage closing/processing with at least 1 year in a senior processing role.
• Prior management or leadership experience is required.
