Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of backend infrastructure that underpins advanced AI solutions, including LLMs.
• Architect data pipelines for handling large datasets and create AI-powered endpoints for our SaaS products and VSCode integrations.
• Develop large-scale graph-based data structures to effectively represent complex data stores and ensure optimal performance.
• Drive the creation of a comprehensive SQL intelligence system focused on query optimization, dynamic pipeline generation, and data lineage tracking.
  
  

Required Skills

• Over 10 years of professional experience in building Python-based backend systems and the accompanying infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in developing scalable back-end systems, APIs, and microservices.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with FastAPI for constructing high-performance APIs (preferred).
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly in relation to Large Language Models (preferred).
• Strong SQL skills, including query profiling, optimization, and performance tuning (preferred).
• Experience with SQL Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) analysis and interaction with SQL parsers (e.g., sqlglot) (preferred).

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant software development roles, with a strong focus on backend systems.
• Demonstrated ability to design and construct high-performance backend architectures.
