Job Overview

We are in search of dedicated and enthusiastic math educators to enhance our tutoring team for weekend and evening sessions. Located in Lake Forest, adjacent to Irvine, our organization is resolute in supporting students’ success in mathematics. If you possess the capability to teach middle school and high school mathematics, including AP Calculus AB and BC, we invite you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct engaging and interactive tutoring sessions and preparatory courses tailored to the specific needs of students.
Cultivate a positive and collaborative learning atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
Track student progress meticulously and offer constructive feedback to our Curriculum Team for the continuous improvement of learning experiences.
Ensure the seamless and effective execution of all tutoring sessions.

Required Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of middle school and high school mathematics curriculum.
Proficiency in teaching AP Calculus AB and BC.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with students effectively.
A strong capacity to motivate and inspire students within a dynamic and fast-paced educational setting.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics or a related STEM field is essential. Ideal candidates will have or be pursuing a graduate degree.
Proven experience in teaching math and STEM subjects to students in grades 6-12, particularly AP courses. Familiarity with math competitions such as AMC 8, 10, 12, and AIME is advantageous but not mandatory.
