Job description

We are seeking an IT Specialist to join our team on a project-based assignment for approximately 3 months, to support various initiatives involving system administration, network management, cloud services, and user support. The ideal candidate will have a diverse technical skill set and experience in managing IT projects that enhance our infrastructure and improve operational efficiency.

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Administration:
    • Assist in Implementing and maintaining Windows Server and support Windows 365 environments.
    • Assist with the management of SQL databases, focusing on performance and backup solutions.
  • Cloud Services:
    • Assist in Deployment and management of Azure Cloud resources, including virtual machines and storage accounts.
    • Support Office 365 applications, ensuring optimal performance and user access.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide technical support for a range of technologies, including Zoom, Teams, and SharePoint.
    • Conduct training sessions for staff on new applications and best practices.
  • Network Management:
    • Configure and troubleshoot network devices to ensure reliable connectivity for all applications.
    • Monitor network performance to meet security compliance standards.
  • Device Management:
    • Utilize Intune for device management, ensuring compliance and security for all endpoints.
    • Troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues across the organization.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain clear documentation for IT systems and processes.
    • Prepare project progress reports for management review.

Technical Skills Requirements:
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure: Azure, MS O365, Windows 365, AWS, Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Windows Server 2012/2019/2022, Hyper-V, and Azure.
    • Windows 10/11 Professional, Mac, and Linux.
    • Active Directory, DHCP, DNS server roles.
    • SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office 2019 and later, Office 365.
    • iOS and Android mobile support.
    • Supporting web and legacy applications such as Quickbooks, Smart Advocate, Ring Central, AutoBan, Adobe,Hubspot, ActivTrak, Jira, Hubspot
    • Networking domains, Active Directory, and security policies.
    • IT security compliance, vulnerability assessment/penetration testing (VA/PT), and cyber defense.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or administration with a focus on cloud and collaboration technologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified) are a plus.
  • Salary: 3,685,000 COP
