Eagle Harbor Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Test Engineer with a Secret clearance to support EHS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity.

The Test Engineer will support AWS cloud-based migration and/or operations maintaining the client’s enterprise reporting.

The ideal candidate is dedicated to strengthening and maintaining his/her skillset to match the need of the work environment. There is a potential for occasional face-to-face SAFe ceremonies on occasion.

The client is in Clarksburg, WV which travel would be covered by the Client.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies
  • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products
  • Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing
  • Analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports
  • Serve as a subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications
  • Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection
  • Design, plan, create, execute, and provide test reports
  • Review government test plans and test reports for technical competence, effectiveness, and compliance with standards
  • Observe and evaluate the execution of customer acceptance test activities
  • Perform integration activities involving developed application software
  • Identify and document problems and issues, providing specific guidance on root-cause and remediation
  • Analyze the requirements for each test event and shall assist in the scheduling of the non-operational environments test assets
  • Support and assist in the execution of security certification testing of systems and components
  • Support the presentation and formal review or audit of test results, providing briefing and decision support material
  • Using software configuration management control tools, accept developed software code and integrate the code into builds (i.e., incremental releases) to support test, integration, deployment, and cut-in to operations activities
  • Maintain and provide controls for multiple test software and hardware baselines

Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years relevant experience w/ bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Knowledge of one or more of these technologies is preferred: AWS, 508 compliances, Atlassian, Selenium, RestAPI, or SmartBear
  • Security Requirements:
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Secret clearance is required

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
