What will you do?
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team player for Team Basalt, someone who communicates easily with others and embraces new challenges. Your eagerness to learn will enable you to quickly integrate into the team and keep up-to-date with the latest techniques. Team Basalt's mission is to develop new foundations that consolidate various data sources into a single source of truth. We approach this mission with a lot of energy and a healthy dose of humor.
Team Basalt was formed to meet the demand for several cross-team services that provide a reliable foundation for congestion management. As a team still in development, there are numerous opportunities and freedoms available.
Your role will involve building diverse solutions to tackle congestion management challenges at Enexis, employing Agile/Scrum methods. Given that you will be developing fundamental (data) services for Enexis, a keen eye for quality and robustness is essential. You'll help design and write Python code to transform data from various sources into comprehensive APIs, which will be utilized by several teams within Enexis.

What experience do we expect?
- At least 3 years of experience as a full-stack software developer, preferably with Python.
- A university (WO) or university of applied sciences (HBO) degree in fields like Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Dutch, both verbal and written.
Technical knowledge and experience:
- Backend development using web frameworks like FastAPI or Django.
- (REST) API design.
- Frontend development, such as React.
- Building cloud solutions, particularly with AWS.
- Infrastructure as code, preferably using Terraform.
- Relational databases (SQL).
- Using GIT.
- Writing reliable end-to-end software, including automated tests.
Additional preferred experience:
- Software design and/or architecture.
- Knowledge of the energy sector.
- Observability and monitoring.

- This consists of a base salary between €3.863 and €5.519 supplemented with a personal budget (10%) and a 13th month (10.7%). You can use these budgets flexibly, for additional leave days, for example.
- Vacation bonus in the amount of 8% of your gross salary.
- We contribute 70% of your ABP Flexible Pension premium.
