Job Overview

We are actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead significant initiatives aimed at restoring critical floodplain habitats for juvenile salmon in the Sacramento River Valley. This remote, work-from-home position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in environmental conservation while connecting isolated restoration efforts into a cohesive network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that detail scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project sustainability and success.
  • Oversee habitat restoration initiatives, including managing the largest potential off-channel habitat restoration project in the upper Sacramento Valley.
  • Supervise multidisciplinary teams, providing direction, support, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including partners, funders, and community members.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory frameworks and organizational policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting project progress, outcomes, and insights for continual improvement.

Qualifications
