Job Overview

We are excited to offer a distinguished opportunity for a proactive Program Manager to become a vital member of our growing team of association professionals in a fully remote setting.

As the Program Manager, you will be instrumental in collaborating with a dedicated team under the leadership of the Executive Director, ensuring the effective execution of diverse programs and projects. Your role will encompass managing assigned programs, projects, and committees, requiring extensive interaction with clients and volunteers. We are in search of a candidate who possesses exceptional project management capabilities and the ability to guide initiatives from initiation through to successful completion, while embodying our core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all programs, activities, and services are delivered in accordance with our contractual commitments.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to committees, facilitating their goals and objectives by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Oversee all aspects of podcasts and webinars in collaboration with committee chairs.
  • Manage the association website, ensuring timely content updates, contributing to content creation, and maintaining current news/events and job board listings.
  • Administer the online member community by assisting users, troubleshooting issues, updating content, and maintaining accuracy.
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with key association contacts, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee association communication across print, online, and social media platforms, consistently sharing relevant content, monitoring analytics, and implementing strategies to enhance the association’s influence.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by promptly addressing all member inquiries and requests via phone, email, or web form.
  • Support conference initiatives, including managing speakers, sponsor programs, and serving as a liaison to the program committee.
  • Manage all aspects of the CME program.
  • Work independently as an individual contributor while also engaging collaboratively with internal teams and volunteer leaders.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated high level of customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset to identify and address problems.
  • Flexibility to accommodate the schedules of association leaders.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend meetings, as well as limited travel for webinars, conferences, and board meetings.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role; prior association or association management experience is advantageous.
