Job Title: Field Marketing Events Manager (Remote - North America)

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Field Marketing Events Manager to enhance our North America Field Marketing team. The successful candidate will demonstrate substantial expertise in event strategy and execution, while exhibiting the ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Strategy:
    • Create and implement a comprehensive North America field marketing events strategy aimed at supporting prospecting, generating pipelines, and accelerating sales opportunities.
    • Develop event marketing initiatives for tradeshows, partner events, channel events, and sales field events.
    • Collaborate closely with Field Sales leadership and regional teams to devise a robust event support framework.
  • Event Management & Logistics:
    • Oversee all aspects of event logistics and execution, including marketing communications, ancillary events, speaker opportunities, staffing, promotional items, booth properties, and lead capture strategies.
    • Manage event scheduling, program budgets, expenses, and travel itineraries.
    • Ensure seamless event execution with a focus on continuous improvement and refinement.
  • Budget & Vendor Management:
    • Administer the overall North America field marketing event budget, ensuring precise tracking of expenses and event budget reconciliation.
    • Develop and sustain strong relationships with event vendors, negotiate contracts, and enhance vendor programs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with internal teams, such as Product Marketing, Demand Marketing, Business Development, and others, to facilitate collaboration.
    • Offer consulting to Business Development, Channel Sales, and Sales Leadership in formulating quarterly field and partner event strategies.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization:
    • Execute post-event evaluations to assess outcomes, determine ROI, and optimize future programs.
    • Continuously refine strategies to align with market dynamics, sales team needs, and organizational objectives.
  • Travel:
    • Anticipate travel commitments of approximately 50-60% to attend various events.
Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in event and tradeshow marketing, planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Demonstrable skills in budgeting and vendor management.
  • Experience managing booth properties, promotional vendors, printing services, and tradeshow management companies.
  • Proficient in using productivity tools such as SFDC and Marketo.
  • Strong MS Office proficiency, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding communication abilities, including presentation and training skills.
  • Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Work Location:

This role is fully remote for candidates located outside a 50-mile radius of our San Ramon office. Candidates residing within 50 miles of our San Ramon location will be required to work in a hybrid capacity, attending the office three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
