Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Automation Software Support Engineer to strengthen our remote support services team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing innovative solutions and technical expertise for automation and robotic systems. Your background in PLC programming, software optimization, and client engagement will be essential to our operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote technical assistance for automation equipment issues, particularly focusing on robotic systems.
  • Collaborate with global clients to provide outstanding customer support and technical guidance.
  • Participate in ongoing software development projects and manage post-sale software initiatives.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships to encourage long-term partnerships.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout all job functions.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience in PLC programming, especially with Allen Bradley or Siemens platforms.
  • Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Transact SQL, .NET Framework, Visual Basic, and ASi Safety systems.
  • Competent in TCP/IP networking and system integration in industrial environments.
  • Ability to swiftly adapt to changing circumstances and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and overtime work as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally (10% - 15%), with a valid driver’s license and passport.

Compensation And Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between \(60,000 and \)70,000.
