Air Consultant (Remote)

Advito, BCD’s consulting firm, is looking for an Air Consultant to join our growing Multimodal Solutions team. This role is responsible for the oversight, delivery, and overall success of new and existing client projects related to corporate airline programs.

Our consultants work with clients to adopt a more modern approach to travel spend management. Powerful analytics, innovative sourcing strategies and Advito’s ongoing performance management helps our clients elevate their airline programs beyond traditional sourcing.

The ideal candidate will be adept at simultaneously managing multiple client engagements within stipulated timelines and budgetary constraints. This entails keeping up with the latest industry developments, effectively utilizing proprietary and third-party tools and technologies for analysis, negotiating with suppliers, overseeing project teams, and delivering actionable recommendations to clients.

As an Air Consultant, you will

  • Lead client engagements, manage projects to timelines and meet client expectations and resource budgets
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities with the client from both current and future engagements
  • Educate clients on current industry trends, challenges and opportunities
  • Prepare and conduct client presentations providing analysis and consultancy
  • Perform quality control metrics associated with project delivery
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to accommodate specific client needs
  • Participate in initiatives to improve internal tools, processes, and expanded service offerings
  • Maintain constructive relationships with account and travel managers and share trends/industry changes
  • Support department's business development and marketing efforts with client renewals and by cross selling additional services

About You

  • Experience in Airline travel supplier/TMC within industry relations, sales and account management
  • Experience with: airline pricing/yield management, project management, incentive and corporate discount programs
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Well-developed problem solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse, cross functional international teams
  • Knowledge of industry supplier corporate discount programs

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position o fAir Consultant is between $75,000 and $85,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
