Description

The Predictive Analytics Architect is responsible for creating custom predictive solutions for new and high growth clients.  Additional responsibilities include working closely with Client Success to understand client needs and make strategic decisions, often in short timeline situations.  All available data resources will be used to develop optimal, creative solutions for our Clients.  The Predictive Analytics Architect is a highly consultative role: from original strategy to results review, you will work closely with Client Success to communicate solutions and rationale to both internal and external audiences.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES:

  1. Provide subject matter expert understanding of Wiland products, models and data resources to consult and provide excellent guidance to Client Success and our Clients to help them achieve or exceed their objectives. 
  2. Proactively consult with Client Success regarding our clients’ consumer data, customer profile, modeling options, production timelines, and performance.      
  3. Build predictive models using proprietary modeling systems as well as commercial statistical software providing excellent internal and external customer service, excellent results while meeting deadlines.
  4. Design workflows for ad hoc projects using non-standard data.
  5. Own the execution of solutions to ensure all steps are completed accurately and on time.  Follow processes and provide follow-up as necessary, ensuring deadlines are met.
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent work experience.  Must be able to produce college transcripts showing minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • 6+ years of experience with predictive modeling methods (regression analysis, decision trees, neural networks, etc.).
  • 6+ years of experience with transactional databases.
  • Functional knowledge of SQL, R, Alteryx or other data manipulation and statistical analysis platforms.
  • Senior level quantitative and analytical aptitude and the ability to apply those concepts in a business setting, identifying relevant business questions and conceptualizing quantitative solutions.

  • Compensation: $113,000 - $158,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component.
