Our People and Culture Division are seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst to support a wide range of activities as part of the Line 1 function.

 

The team are a true multi-disciplinary unit, supporting both the People and Culture division with risk and compliance advisory, incident and issue management, risk in change, reporting and governance, as well as the broader Allianz Australia Limited (AAL) Line 1 teams with the People Risk Management Framework, as it relates to their business units. 

You'll be responsible for:
  • 1st Line of defence, assisting in managing the implementation and execution of the risk and compliance management framework, partnering with the business to ensure that current and emerging risks are appropriately identified, assessed, and monitored.
  • Managing the implementation and execution of the risk and compliance management framework and preparing appropriate reports on risk and compliance performance.
  • Providing analysis of thematic risk and compliance issues arising from control self-assessment results, compliance incidents, breaches, risk incidents and operational losses, escalating to relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting the business with the development, execution and monitoring of remedial activity for operational loss, compliance incident
  • Facilitating workshops, providing advisory, and guiding management on risk and compliance matters. Developing an action plan to address emerging business compliance risks in accordance with the current Risk Management Framework.
About you:
  • Experience in an analyst, audit or risk and compliance role for a complex, matrixed general insurance, or financial services organisation.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Understands customer insights, feedback, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline preferred, demonstrating technical understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls.
